Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian Singer Juma Jux Unite in Islamic Wedding Ceremony

Priscilla Ajoke Ojo, daughter of  Nigerian actress and entrepreneur Iyabo Ojo, entered into matrimony with Tanzanian musician Juma Mussa Mkambala, professionally known as Jux, on Friday, February 7, 2025. The Islamic wedding ceremony was held in Tanzania, the groom's homeland. 

The intimate event was graced by close family and friends, including Priscilla's mother, Iyabo Ojo; her brother, Festus Ojo; social media influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa; and Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz and his wife. Attendees donned traditional Tanzanian attire, adding a rich cultural essence to the celebration. 

The couple's engagement was announced in September 2024, following Jux's visits to Nigeria, where he embraced Yoruba culture and spent time with the Ojo family. This cross-cultural union has garnered widespread attention and praise, symbolizing the blending of Nigerian and Tanzanian traditions. 

Following the Nikkah ceremony, the couple plans to return to Nigeria for their traditional wedding, which is anticipated to be equally grand. Additionally, preparations are underway for an exclusive white party in Tanzania, ensuring that the celebrations continue across borders. 

The marriage of Priscilla and Jux not only highlights the beauty of cross-cultural unions but also reinforces the connection between Nigerian and Tanzanian traditions in contemporary society.
