Manchester City's Nico González Suffers Injury Blow on Debut

Manchester City's recent acquisition, Nico González, experienced a challenging debut during the FA Cup fourth-round match against Leyton Orient. The midfielder, who joined from Porto for €60 million, was substituted after 20 minutes due to a back injury following a collision with an opponent. Prior to his exit, González lost possession, leading to Leyton Orient's opening goal.
Manager Pep Guardiola expressed concern over González's condition, especially with the upcoming Champions League fixture against Real Madrid on February 11. The severity of the injury remains uncertain, pending further medical evaluation.

Despite the early setback, Manchester City managed a 2-1 victory over Leyton Orient, with goals from Rico Lewis and Kevin De Bruyne securing their progression to the fifth round.
