Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia has joined PSV Eindhoven on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. 
The 25-year-old Dutch left-back, who transferred to Manchester United from Feyenoord in 2022, will have his salary fully covered by PSV during this period. The agreement includes an option for PSV to purchase Malacia for €10 million at the conclusion of the loan.
Malacia made 22 appearances in his debut Premier League season with Manchester United. However, a knee injury sidelined him for the entire 2023/24 season. Reflecting on his recovery, Malacia expressed his eagerness to return to competitive play, stating that the rehabilitation period has strengthened him both physically and mentally.
PSV Eindhoven currently leads the Eredivisie standings with 50 points from 21 matches, maintaining a narrow lead over Ajax Amsterdam, who have a game in hand.
This move marks Malacia's return to Dutch football, where he previously made significant contributions with Feyenoord before his tenure in the Premier League.
