Barcelona GK Marc-André ter Stegen Announces Separation from Wife Daniela Jehle After 13 Years Together

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen has announced his separation from his wife, Daniela Jehle, after eight years of marriage. The couple, who have two children together, stated that their primary focus is to provide a loving and stable environment for their family during this transition. 

In a joint statement, ter Stegen and Jehle expressed, "After careful consideration, Dani and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not an easy one, as you can imagine, but we both believe it is the best step for us." They further emphasized their commitment to co-parenting, ensuring their children continue to have a supportive upbringing.

Recent reports suggest that ter Stegen has been residing in a hotel in Barcelona following the separation. The couple's last public appearance together was in February 2024, when they welcomed their second child. They began their relationship in 2012 and married in 2017, with celebrations in both Sitges and Tuscany. 

While the specific reasons for their separation have not been disclosed, both ter Stegen and Jehle have requested privacy and understanding from the public and media during this challenging time.
