Warren Zaïre-Emery captained Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on his 19th birthday, leading them to a commanding 4-1 victory over Stade Rennais in Ligue 1 on March 8, 2025. The match, held at Roazhon Park in Rennes, highlighted the young midfielder’s rapid rise since his professional debut in August 2022.
Bradley Barcola opened the scoring for PSG in the 27th minute, converting a pass from Ismaila Sarr to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. Gonçalo Ramos doubled PSG's advantage in the 50th minute, finishing a cross from Barcola. Rennes responded in the 53rd minute with a goal from defender Lilian Brassier, who headed in a cross from Jérémy Jacquet, narrowing the gap to 2-1.

In stoppage time, substitute Ousmane Dembélé sealed the win with a counter-attacking goal, set up by Achraf Hakimi. Dembélé struck again in the 90+4th minute, finishing a pass from Vitinha to complete his brace and secure the 4-1 victory for PSG.

This win extends PSG's unbeaten run in Ligue 1, maintaining a 16-point lead over second-placed Olympique de Marseille. Head coach Luis Enrique expressed optimism about the team's performance, especially with the upcoming Champions League match against Liverpool on the horizon.
