Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has resumed training with the squad, marking a significant step in his recovery from injury. The England international had been sidelined since December due to a hamstring issue sustained during Arsenal's 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace. Following surgery, Saka has gradually progressed in his rehabilitation and is now preparing for a return to competitive action.

His comeback is timely, with Arsenal set to face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals. The first leg is scheduled to take place at the Emirates Stadium on April 8. To confirm his return, Saka shared a post on Instagram featuring a training session photo with the caption, "Hello again."

Manager Mikel Arteta provided an update on Saka’s fitness, expressing optimism about his progress. Arteta stated that the player is "getting closer" to full match fitness and "making very good progress." However, he emphasized the need for a careful reintegration process to avoid any setbacks.

Saka’s return is a crucial boost for Arsenal, especially as the club continues to manage injuries to several key players, including Jurrien Timber, Kai Havertz, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel Jesus, and Riccardo Calafiori. His presence on the pitch is expected to strengthen the squad as they compete in both domestic and European tournaments.

Before the high-stakes Champions League fixture against Real Madrid, Arsenal has two key Premier League matches—against Fulham on April 1 and Everton on April 5. These games could provide an opportunity for Saka to regain match sharpness as the Gunners prepare for a crucial phase of their season.
