Carlo Ancelotti Confirms Vinícius Júnior's Availability Against Villarreal Despite Being Given A Day Rest

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Vinícius Júnior will be available for their upcoming La Liga clash against Villarreal, despite the Brazilian forward being given an extra day of rest following a demanding week.

"Vinícius needed more rest… but he will be available tomorrow, no problem," Ancelotti stated during a press conference.

The 24-year-old forward, who played a pivotal role in Real Madrid's Champions League victory over Atlético Madrid earlier this week, was excused from team training on Friday due to fatigue. Ancelotti emphasized Vinícius' importance to the squad, saying, "For me, he’s an indisputable player for us. Vini Jr remains absolutely key."

Real Madrid will face Villarreal on Saturday, March 15, at Estadio de la Cerámica, with the match scheduled to kick off at 6:30 PM CET. The defending champions are currently second in the La Liga standings, level on points with leaders Barcelona, and will be looking to secure a crucial win to maintain their title challenge.
