Nicolas Jackson Returns to Chelsea Training Following Hamstring Injury

Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson has resumed training with the first team after recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in early February. The Senegalese striker had been sidelined for several weeks, with initial assessments predicting a recovery period of six to eight weeks, keeping him out until after the international break.

Manager Enzo Maresca had previously indicated that Jackson was expected to return once the break concluded, stating, "Nico will be out until the international break, probably available after that." Following the anticipated timeline, Jackson's participation in today's training session confirms his recovery progress.

During his absence, Chelsea struggled offensively, particularly affecting Cole Palmer, who endured a ten-game goal drought. Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown attributed Palmer’s difficulties to Jackson’s absence, explaining that the striker’s movement plays a crucial role in creating space for his teammates.

With Jackson now back in training, Chelsea are hopeful that his return will enhance their attacking options as they prepare to resume their Premier League campaign.
