In a recent interview, Brighton & Hove Albion forward Danny Welbeck reflected on his career partnerships, notably highlighting Alexis Sanchez as his most effective strike partner, thereby overlooking Cristiano Ronaldo. Welbeck, who began his professional journey at Manchester United, shared the dressing room with Ronaldo during the 2008-09 season. Despite acknowledging Ronaldo's exceptional talent and work ethic, Welbeck emphasized his on-field synergy with Sanchez during their tenure at Arsenal.

Welbeck remarked on his early experiences at Manchester United, stating, "Actually when I was first in the dressing room and I was in the corner between Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs, I was a 17-year-old and that’s who I’m sat between. It was just amazing to see."

However, when asked to identify his most effective strike partner, Welbeck chose Sanchez, noting, "I’m going to go for Sanchez. I played a lot of games with him and I really had a good connection with him. He was one where he could spot runs and find me and come again we just had a really good connection between us."

Welbeck also praised other former teammates, including Dimitar Berbatov and Olivier Giroud, highlighting their unique qualities and contributions on the field. Nonetheless, his partnership with Sanchez remains the standout collaboration in his career.
