"Everything is Possible" – Ødegaard Optimistic About Arsenal's Title and UCL Hopes

Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard remains optimistic about his team's prospects in both the Premier League and the Champions League this season, asserting that "everything is possible."

Despite trailing league leaders Liverpool by 16 points, Ødegaard emphasizes the importance of perseverance and recalls past experiences where league leads have shifted.

Reflecting on previous seasons, Ødegaard noted that Arsenal had been in commanding positions only to finish second, highlighting the unpredictable nature of football. He stated, "We've been fighting three years in a row for the title, and you go a couple of years back then we were leading with a lot of points and then we finished second. It shows that everything is possible." 

Ødegaard acknowledges the challenging position Arsenal currently faces but remains hopeful for a strong finish. "We have put ourselves in a difficult position at the moment, but we have to keep going," he said. He also expressed confidence in replicating last season's late surge in form, saying, "Hopefully we can—like last year—hit the top form towards the end and then we'll see where that takes us in the league and also in the Champions League." 

Arsenal's recent performance in the Champions League has been encouraging. The team secured a commanding 7-1 victory over PSV Eindhoven, with Ødegaard contributing two goals and an assist. This win has bolstered the team's confidence as they prepare for upcoming fixtures.
