Sean Kanu, son of Nigerian football legend Nwankwo Kanu, has signed a professional contract with Polish club KS Dozamet Connector Nowa Sól. The 19-year-old forward joins the III Liga side, continuing his family's esteemed football legacy.
Meanwhile his father Nwankwo Kanu, a distinguished Nigerian forward, enjoyed a prolific club career spanning several top European leagues. He began his career at Iwuanyanwu Nationale in Nigeria, where he made 25 appearances and scored 15 goals. He then moved to Ajax, where he made 54 appearances and scored 25 goals in the Eredivisie.

Kanu's career continued at Inter Milan, where he made 12 appearances and scored 1 goal in Serie A. His next move was to Arsenal, where he enjoyed great success, making 119 appearances and scoring 30 goals in the Premier League. Following Arsenal, he joined West Bromwich Albion, making 53 appearances and scoring 7 goals.
Finally, Kanu finished his club career at Portsmouth, where he made 143 appearances and scored 20 goals in the Premier League. His career totals amount to 406 appearances and 98 goals across all competitions.
