Everton extended their unbeaten Premier League streak to nine matches with a 1-1 draw against West Ham United at Goodison Park on Saturday. The match, dubbed the 'David Moyes Derby' due to the manager's history with both clubs, saw late drama as Jake O'Brien's stoppage-time header canceled out Tomáš Souček's earlier goal.

The first half was tightly contested, with both teams creating limited clear-cut chances. Everton thought they had a penalty when Armando Broja was brought down, but the decision was overturned after a VAR review. West Ham improved after the break, and their persistence paid off in the 67th minute when Souček converted a precise cross from Jarrod Bowen.

Despite falling behind, Everton continued to press and were rewarded in stoppage time. O'Brien rose highest to meet a corner, directing his header past the West Ham goalkeeper to secure a valuable point for the Toffees. This result leaves both teams level on 34 points, with Everton in 15th place and West Ham in 16th, as they look to finish the season strongly.
