FA Cup Semi-Final Draw: Manchester City Face Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa Set for Crystal Palace Clash at Wembley

The draw for the 2024–25 Emirates FA Cup semi-finals has been conducted earlier today following the following the completion of the quarter final games. 
Following the semi final draw which has set up the stage for two compelling all-Premier League encounters at Wembley Stadium.

It's been learnt that Nottingham Forest will face Manchester City after securing their place in the semi-finals with a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Brighton & Hove Albion. 

Recall that earlier today, Manchester City advanced by defeating Bournemouth 2-1, despite an injury to key striker Erling Haaland.

On Saturday, Crystal Palace will take on Aston Villa in the other semi-final. Palace earned their spot with a convincing 3-0 win against Fulham, while Villa secured their place following a 3-0 triumph over Preston North End, highlighted by Marcus Rashford ending his goal drought with two goals.

It's been learnt that The semi-final matches are scheduled to take place at Wembley Stadium on the weekend of April 26 and 27, with exact dates and kickoff times to be confirmed.

On the other hand, the winners of these ties will advance to the FA Cup final, set for Saturday, May 17.

Among the semi-finalists, Manchester City stands out as the most recent FA Cup winner, having last claimed the trophy in 2023.

 Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa have not lifted the cup since 1959 and 1957, respectively, while Crystal Palace continues to seek their first FA Cup triumph.
