Barcelona's head coach, Hansi Flick, has addressed inquiries regarding goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny's future with the club, emphasizing that contract negotiations fall under the purview of Sporting Director Deco and the club's management.
Flick stated, "I don't make any offers to any player, because that's Deco's and the club's job." He further added, "As I said before, I focus on the team I have. Of course, we're happy with him, but that's Deco's job to decide."
Szczęsny, who joined Barcelona in October 2024 following a season-ending injury to first-choice goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, has delivered commendable performances. Notably, he has maintained six clean sheets in eleven appearances, showcasing his reliability between the posts.
