Pep Guardiola has confirmed one player that is sure of starting in the semi final of the FA Cup following his performance today in their win over Bournemouth.

Nico O’Reilly produced a man of the performance after he came off the bench in the second half.

It was learnt that Manchester City secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Bournemouth in the FA Cup quarter-final, advancing to their seventh consecutive semi-final.

Bournemouth opened the scoring with Evanilson capitalizing on defensive errors. Erling Haaland equalized in the second half, assisted by Nico O'Reilly, before sustaining an ankle injury that led to his substitution. Omar Marmoush, replacing Haaland, netted the decisive goal with his first touch.

Meanwhile Manager Pep Guardiola praised O'Reilly's performance, stating, "Nico O'Reilly is going to play in the FA Cup semi-final for sure! His impact was just excellent." O'Reilly's contributions were pivotal, providing assists for both goals and demonstrating versatility in an unfamiliar position.

Following the win, Manchester City will face Nottingham Forest in the semi-finals at Wembley Stadium in late April. The other semi-final features Crystal Palace against Aston Villa.
