Liverpool's first-team squad arrived in Paris earlier today ahead of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first-leg clash against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. The team landed in the French capital in high spirits, maintaining an impressive run of form in both domestic and European competitions.

Manager Arne Slot has named a 24-man squad for the encounter, with forward Cody Gakpo making the trip despite earlier concerns over his fitness. However, defenders Joe Gomez and Conor Bradley remain sidelined due to injury.
Security arrangements for the match have been deemed standard, with French police classifying the fixture as "not high risk." Approximately 2,000 Liverpool supporters are expected to attend the game, with many choosing to travel despite past concerns.

The upcoming match holds significant importance for both teams, as they vie for a coveted spot in the Champions League quarter-finals. Liverpool's midfield, featuring talents like Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Curtis Jones, and Wataru Endo, will be pivotal in countering PSG's formidable lineup, including in-form forward Ousmane Dembélé.

Kick-off is scheduled for 9:00 PM GMT.
