Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed speculation surrounding his future, stating that the outcome of their Champions League quarter-final second leg against Arsenal will not determine his position at the club.
Trailing 3-0 from the first leg, Ancelotti remains hopeful of a comeback at the Santiago Bernabéu. He urged his players to approach the game with “head, heart, and courage,” a phrase he credited to the grandfather of Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz.

“We need to play a match with intelligence, passion, and bravery,” Ancelotti said during his pre-match press conference. He acknowledged the difficulty of facing an organised Arsenal side, but expressed confidence in his team’s ability to overturn the deficit, referencing Real Madrid’s history of dramatic European recoveries.

When asked about his future at the club, the Italian coach firmly responded: “I don’t think my future depends on tomorrow.” He explained that any discussions regarding his role will take place at the end of the season.

Despite the pressure, Ancelotti remains focused on the task at hand, emphasizing the need for a balanced performance. “We must control the game and demonstrate unity between individual quality and collective attitude,” he concluded.
