Ben White has returned to full training with Arsenal ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against Real Madrid on Wednesday, April 16.
White, who was absent during the recent Premier League draw against Brentford due to a minor knock, took part in the team's final training session before their trip to Madrid. His return is a boost for manager Mikel Arteta, offering more defensive options as Arsenal aim to protect their 3-0 aggregate lead from the first leg.
White's availability gives Arteta additional flexibility in his backline, either as a starter or as a reliable option off the bench.
In related updates, midfielder Thomas Partey has also returned to training after being substituted during the Brentford match. He is fit and expected to be involved. However, Jorginho has been ruled out of the clash due to a rib injury sustained in the same match. The Italian midfielder has not trained and will miss the trip to the Santiago Bernabéu.
Arsenal will be aiming to reach their first Champions League semi-final since the 2008–09 season, while Real Madrid will be hoping to mount a comeback in front of their home fans.
