Chelsea secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Legia Warsaw in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League quarter-finals on April 10, 2025. After a goalless first half, the Blues broke the deadlock in the 49th minute when 19-year-old Tyrique George netted his first professional goal, capitalizing on a rebound from Reece James' shot that was parried by Legia's goalkeeper, Kacper Tobiasz.

Substitute Noni Madueke doubled Chelsea's lead in the 57th minute, finishing a pass from Jadon Sancho with precision. Madueke struck again in the 74th minute, once more assisted by Sancho, to seal the 3-0 win.

Chelsea dominated possession throughout the match, controlling 72.1% of the ball and registering 24 shot attempts, with 10 on target. In contrast, Legia Warsaw managed 8 shots, only one of which was on target.

The second leg is scheduled for Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea will aim to maintain their advantage and secure a place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Conference League.
