Ilkay Gündoğan Shares Adorable Moment with Daughter at Etihad After Manchester City's 5-2 Comeback Win Over Crystal Palace

Ilkay Gündoğan shared a heartwarming moment with his daughter at the Etihad Stadium following Manchester City's thrilling 5-2 comeback victory over Crystal Palace on April 12, 2025. 

The midfielder posted a photo on social media, captioned: "My proudest supporter 🩵 #CmonCity #amazingteamcomeback 🔥".

The match began unfavorably for City, with Crystal Palace taking a 2-0 lead through goals by Eberechi Eze and Chris Richards within the first 21 minutes. However, Kevin De Bruyne initiated the comeback with a stunning free-kick and contributed two assists. 

Omar Marmoush and Mateo Kovačić scored to level and then take the lead, respectively. James McAtee added a fourth goal, assisted by goalkeeper Ederson, and Nico O'Reilly sealed the victory with the fifth goal.

Gündoğan and his wife, Sara, welcomed their second child, a daughter named Ella, in February 2025. Their first child, a son named Kais, was born in March 2023.
