Initially sidelined in February during a training camp in Dubai, Havertz underwent surgery and was anticipated to miss the remainder of the season. However, his recovery has progressed well, and Arteta has expressed optimism about his return.
While a specific return date hasn't been set, Arteta suggested that Havertz might not be ready for the upcoming Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain but could feature in the final weeks of the season. The manager praised Havertz's dedication, noting, "The way he works every day in the gym, pushing everybody, I don’t think you can hold him back for much longer."
Havertz's return would be timely for Arsenal, who have managed to reach the Champions League semi-finals despite lacking a recognized striker, with both Havertz and Gabriel Jesus out injured. His comeback could bolster Arsenal's attacking options as they aim for their first Champions League title.
