Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that midfielder Jorginho will not be available for selection in their upcoming Champions League first-leg tie against Paris Saint-Germain due to injury.
Speaking to the press, Arteta shared, “Jorginho is NOT going to be available yet, he’s still struggling.” He went on to address the possibility of Jorginho being fit for the first leg, stating, “[Fit for first leg vs. PSG?] That’s probably a question for the doctor, it’s quite a specific & difficult matter, so I will leave that to the club to make an analysis.”
This weekend, the Gunners will travel away to face Ipswich Town in the Premier League.
