Nollywood actor Peter Edochie and his son, Yul Edochie, recently celebrated Leo Edochie's 55th birthday with heartfelt tributes.
Veteran actor Pete Edochie marked the special occasion by sharing a photo of Leo on Instagram, simply writing: "Happy birthday Son @edochieleo."
Yul Edochie also took to Instagram to share an emotional tribute, reminiscing about moments from their youth and the strong bond they share. He recalled how, in 1998, Leo advised him to choose the University of Port Harcourt as his first choice for university, saying he would take care of him. Yul remembered how Leo drove him to Port Harcourt, ensured he settled into his hostel, and looked out for him.
Yul also shared a memorable experience from 1999 when they found themselves without a place to stay. Leo calmed him down, saying they would sleep in the car, reassuring him with the words: "Life is tough, it won't always be easy, but you must be ready to adapt to any situation you find yourself in, never panic. Take down your seat, we'll sleep in the car. Don't be afraid, I'm your elder brother, I'll protect you. Nothing will happen to you. I'll always be there for you." They slept in the car that night, and Leo kept his promise, always being there for Yul.
Yul concluded his message with: "I'll love you forever, big brother."
