Actress Toni Tones has come to the defense of comedian and skit maker Isaac Aloma, popularly known as Zicsaloma, following online criticism he received after sharing a personal video.

In the video, Zicsaloma recounted the experience of taking his ailing mother to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) amid her battle with cancer. Some social media users criticized him for opting to treat his mother locally while he himself traveled abroad for cosmetic surgery.

Toni Tones responded on X (formerly Twitter), expressing her disapproval of the criticism. She wrote, "Everyone saying Zic flew to Turkey to get surgery but took his mum to LUTH for cancer, you’re all colossally stupid." Her comment was a direct rebuke to those questioning Zicsaloma's choices.

In a separate development, Zicsaloma has faced backlash over his recent $11,000 nose surgery in Turkey. Despite the criticism, he defended his decision, stating that he is morally superior to many of those judging him. He emphasized that he does not engage in behaviors such as womanizing, smoking, or drinking, and that he is content with his personal choices.

Additionally, Zicsaloma recently gifted his mother a new house, sharing the heartfelt moment on social media. He expressed his joy in being able to take care of his mother, acknowledging her support throughout his life.
