Eriksen, 33, joined United on a free transfer in July 2022 after a brief stint at Brentford. Despite making 27 appearances this season, his playing time has diminished, partly due to injuries and tactical changes. The Danish midfielder has acknowledged the lack of contract renewal discussions and is prepared to explore opportunities in top European leagues, excluding a return to the Premier League, MLS, or Saudi Pro League.
Lindelöf, 30, who has been with United since 2017, is also set to leave after the club opted not to extend his contract. The Swedish defender has faced limited playing time this season, falling down the pecking order due to new signings and injuries. Former club Benfica has expressed interest in re-signing him.
Evans, 37, returned to United in 2023 on a short-term deal that was extended for an additional year. The veteran defender has been sidelined with injuries and is not expected to receive a new contract.
These departures are part of a broader strategy to rejuvenate the squad and align it with Amorim's tactical vision, following a disappointing season that sees United currently in the lower half of the Premier League table.
