Liverpool’s final match of the 2024/25 season ended in a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace at Anfield. Ismaila Sarr put Palace ahead in the 8th minute, but Salah stepped up once again, scoring the equalizer in the 83rd minute, ensuring Liverpool avoided defeat in their last game of the campaign.
Salah finished the season as the Premier League’s top scorer with 29 goals, securing his fourth Golden Boot. He also led the league in assists with 18, earning the Playmaker Award. Throughout the campaign, he faced tough competition from Alexander Isak, who finished second with 23 goals, and Erling Haaland, who netted 21 times. His playmaking abilities also stood out, as he led the assists chart ahead of Jacob Murphy, who recorded 12 assists.
Liverpool sealed the Premier League title earlier in the season with a dominant 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur, where Salah played a key role with a goal and an assist. This marks the second time he has won both the Golden Boot and Playmaker Award in the same season, having previously achieved the feat in 2021/22.
