Saliba and Timber Ruled Out of Arsenal’s Clash with Southampton Due to Injuries

Arsenal defenders William Saliba and Jurrien Timber have been ruled out of the club's final Premier League match of the season against Southampton due to injuries, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed on Wednesday.
Saliba, who was making his 100th Premier League appearance, sustained a hamstring injury during Arsenal's recent 1–0 victory over Newcastle United and was substituted at halftime. Arteta stated that the French centre-back will be sidelined for several weeks.

Timber, meanwhile, underwent ankle surgery on Tuesday and is also expected to be out for a few weeks. The Dutch full-back has made 48 appearances across all competitions this season.

Despite these setbacks, Arsenal are poised to secure a second-place finish in the Premier League for the third consecutive season.
