Brennan Johnson wasted no time in putting Spurs ahead, finding the net just 37 seconds after kickoff—one of the quickest goals ever recorded in a Europa League semi-final. James Maddison extended their lead midway through the first half with a composed finish. In the second half, Dominic Solanke converted a penalty to make it 3-0. Bodø/Glimt managed to reduce the deficit late in the match through a goal from Ulrik Saltnes in the 83rd minute, giving the visitors a chance to stay competitive ahead of the return leg.

Tottenham produced this commanding performance despite being without captain Son Heung-min, who has been out of action since April 10 due to a foot injury. Although sidelined, Son was present at the stadium to support his teammates.

The second leg of the tie will take place next Thursday in Norway, where Tottenham will look to defend their advantage and secure progression to the final.
