Al Hilal Submit €70m Bid for Victor Osimhen, Await Napoli’s Decision

Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal has submitted an official offer to Napoli for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, proposing a deal valued at €65 million plus an additional €5 million in performance-related add-ons.  The decision now rests with Napoli, who must evaluate the proposal. 

This development follows recent reports indicating that Al Hilal had initiated contact with Osimhen to discuss personal terms, including a potential salary package.  Previously, Al Hilal had made a significant offer of €140 million to Napoli for Osimhen, which was declined by the Italian club.  The Saudi club had also proposed a substantial weekly wage to Osimhen, aiming to make him one of the highest-paid players globally.  

Osimhen, who spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, delivered an impressive performance, scoring 30 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions.   Despite the lucrative offers from Al Hilal, Osimhen has previously expressed a desire to continue competing at the highest levels of European football.  

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has consistently valued Osimhen at over €150 million, indicating the club's reluctance to part with their star striker for a lower fee.   As negotiations continue, it remains to be seen whether Al Hilal's latest bid will meet Napoli's valuation and whether Osimhen will be persuaded to make a move to the Saudi Pro League.
