Manchester City have officially completed the signing of Algerian left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a five-year contract. The highly-rated defender joins Pep Guardiola’s squad in a deal reportedly worth £31 million, potentially rising to £36.3 million with performance-related add-ons.
Aït-Nouri, who initially arrived at Wolves on loan from Angers in 2020 before making the move permanent, has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most promising full-backs. His ability to contribute both defensively and offensively made him a key target for City, who are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup later this year.
