Manchester City Set to Complete Tijjani Reijnders Signing with Medical Scheduled for Sunday

Manchester City have finalized a £46.2 million agreement to acquire Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan, with the fee potentially increasing to nearly £60 million through performance-based add-ons.

The 26-year-old is expected to undergo a medical examination on Sunday, ahead of signing a five-year contract that will make him City's first signing of the summer transfer window.  

Reijnders, who was named Serie A Midfielder of the Year for the 2024–25 season, scored 15 goals and provided five assists for AC Milan. He is widely regarded as a successor to Kevin De Bruyne, who is set to depart the club this summer.  

The Dutch international is expected to join the squad in time for Manchester City's FIFA Club World Cup campaign in the United States, with their first match scheduled against Wydad Casablanca on June 18.
