Manchester United has officially signed Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, marking their first major transfer of the summer.
The Brazilian forward, 26 years old, has signed a five-year contract until June 2030, with an option for an additional year.

United reportedly paid £62.5 million ($84 million) for Cunha, securing his services after an impressive season at Wolves, where he scored 17 goals. His arrival is part of coach Ruben Amorim’s squad overhaul following United’s disappointing 15th-place finish in the Premier League last season.

Cunha expressed his excitement, stating that joining United fulfills a childhood dream. He recalled watching Premier League matches at his grandmother’s house in Brazil and always admiring the club.
