Michał Probierz Resigns as Poland Coach Following Dispute with Robert Lewandowski

Poland's national football team has undergone a major shake-up as Michał Probierz has resigned from his role as head coach following a public fallout with star striker Robert Lewandowski. 

The controversy began when Probierz decided to strip Lewandowski of the captaincy, appointing midfielder Piotr Zieliński as his replacement. Lewandowski, Poland's all-time top scorer, responded by announcing that he would no longer play for Poland as long as Probierz remained in charge, citing a loss of trust in the coach. 

Probierz ultimately stepped down, stating that his resignation was the best decision for the national team. His departure marks the end of a turbulent chapter for Polish football, leaving the team in search of new leadership ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
