The newly crowned European champions showcased their dominance with an impressive performance, delighting the 80,619 spectators in attendance.

PSG took control early, with Fabian Ruiz opening the scoring in the 19th minute. Just before halftime, Vitinha doubled the lead, putting the French side firmly in command. Atletico Madrid struggled to create opportunities, and their frustrations were compounded when Clement Lenglet received a red card in the second half.

The Parisian club continued their relentless attack, with Senny Mayulu adding a third goal in the 87th minute, followed by Lee Kang-In, who converted a penalty in stoppage time to seal the emphatic win.

With this victory, PSG begins their Club World Cup campaign on a high note, reinforcing their status as one of the tournament favorites. They will next face Botafogo in their second group-stage match.
