Frank, who initially joined Brentford in 2016 as an assistant manager before taking charge in 2018, led the club to Premier League promotion in 2021 and managed over 300 games in all competitions. His tenure at Brentford was marked by consistent performances, keeping the club competitive in England’s top flight.
Despite Tottenham’s Europa League triumph at the end of May, the club opted to part ways with Postecoglou following a disappointing 17th-place finish in the 2024/25 Premier League season. Frank’s arrival signals a fresh start for Spurs as they aim to reestablish themselves among England’s elite.
The new head coach will be accompanied by Justin Cochrane, who joins as an assistant coach, along with Chris Haslam (Head of Performance) and Joe Newton (analyst). Additionally, Andreas Georgson arrives from Manchester United to bolster the coaching staff.
Tottenham expressed confidence in Frank’s progressive and innovative approach, highlighting his proven track record in player development and his ability to build competitive squads. His first major challenge will be against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup on August 13.
