Yinka Theisen has expressed her displeasure with her estranged husband, Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, and has vowed to respond after feeling publicly humiliated.
Just under a month after their union was announced, the couple announced an abrupt separation.
In a candid Facebook message, Yinka recounted a disagreement that ended with her being blocked, and Linc issuing a public statement terminating the relationship. She claimed her brother-in-law, Leo, also recorded a disparaging message about her. Undeterred, Yinka promised a public response, writing:
> “Since he has cowardly embarrassed me on social media, I will respond in kind.”
The initial breakdown is believed to have followed an incident in which Yinka shared the phone number of May Edochie—Linc’s brother Yul’s former wife—on social media, alleging that May's supporters had shared Yinka’s number online. This action elicited backlash, including a leak of personal contact details belonging to members of the Edochie family.
On June 23, Linc released a statement emphasizing his preference for peace over a marriage filled with hidden conflict. He clarified that he did not support Yinka’s decision to share May’s number and affirmed his commitment to mutual respect. “Better to be alone and at peace than to be in a union filled with landmines,” he remarked.
Following the public announcement, both Yinka and Linc reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram, intensifying speculation of their split.
On social media, Yinka’s messages shifted from a tender description of Linc as her “Odogwu” to heartfelt appeals to God, before evolving into strong accusations against him.
