Fenerbahçe have officially announced the signing of Colombian striker Jhon Durán on a one-year loan deal from Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
The 21-year-old forward, who arrived in Riyadh just six months ago in a high-profile €77 million transfer from Aston Villa, will now continue his career in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Despite the move, Al Nassr will continue to cover Durán’s full annual salary, reportedly valued at €10 million net. The loan agreement was finalized following strategic discussions led by head coach José Mourinho and sporting director Devin Özek, who had identified Durán as a key target to bolster the club’s attacking options.
Durán scored 12 goals in 18 appearances for Al Nassr but faced internal challenges that prompted the temporary switch. His arrival is expected to significantly strengthen Fenerbahçe’s title ambitions and support Mourinho’s push for European competition qualification.
