Manchester United Omit Garnacho, Sancho, Antony and Malacia from Pre-Season Tour Amid Transfer Plans

Manchester United have omitted Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia from their squad for the upcoming pre-season tour in the United States. Their exclusion is understood to be due to the club’s intention to offload them during the summer transfer window. All four players have been training separately from the main group at Carrington and are currently available for transfer, though no formal offers have been confirmed.
Harry Maguire is also not part of the touring squad, but his absence is due to personal reasons. The club expects him to join up with the team later during the tour.

Garnacho, who is valued at around £40 million, has drawn interest from several Premier League clubs and is reportedly open to remaining in England. Sancho and Antony, both aged 25, spent last season on loan at Chelsea and Real Betis respectively, while Malacia was loaned to PSV. All four are surplus to requirements as Manchester United look to reshape the squad under manager Rúben Amorim.

The team will face West Ham, Bournemouth, and Everton in their U.S. tour, followed by the Snapdragon Cup back at Old Trafford. Meanwhile, transfer-listed players will continue training at Carrington as the club explores potential deals.
