Bournemouth and Chelsea have reached an agreement on the deal, with Petrović expected to sign a five-year contract. The 25-year-old is making the move in search of regular first-team football, which was not guaranteed at Chelsea. He had a strong loan spell at RC Strasbourg, making 31 league appearances and attracting interest from clubs such as Sunderland, AS Monaco, and Aston Villa. However, Bournemouth have secured the signing.
The Cherries view Petrović as a direct replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, who recently joined Arsenal.
