Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems performed during halftime at the FIFA Club World Cup Final on July 13, 2025, held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
She was joined by Doja Cat and J Balvin in what marked the first halftime show in the tournament’s history. The performance was curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin and produced in partnership with Global Citizen.
The show featured choreographed dance routines, a live choir, and a Super Bowl-style production. It also supported the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to improve access to quality education worldwide. Tems, who won a Grammy in 2025 for her song "Love Me JeJe," was a fitting representative of the event’s global and socially conscious focus.
In the half time of the match, Chelsea lead Paris Saint-Germain 3–0. Cole Palmer scored twice in the 22nd and 30th minutes, and João Pedro added a third goal in the 43rd minute.
