Spice Girls’ beloved “Scary Spice,” Mel B (Melanie Brown), has said "I do" for the third time, exchanging vows with longtime partner Rory McPhee in a heartfelt ceremony on Saturday, July 5, 2025. The wedding took place in the Crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London—a rare privilege granted thanks to her MBE honour in recognition of her work advocating for survivors of domestic violence.

The historic setting—known as St. Faith’s Chapel—echoes its royal past, most famously linked to Princess Diana and Prince Charles. The honor is a testament to Mel B’s activism and visibility, as only a select few are permitted to marry there.
Mel B dazzled in a custom ivory gown crafted by British designer Josephine Scott, featuring pearl-embellished details, a corset bodice, and a cathedral-length veil. She later changed into a second dress by Justin Alexander for the reception. Rory complemented her look with a classic red tartan kilt, adding a traditional touch to the elegant affair.

Mel B’s three daughters—Phoenix (26), Angel Iris (18), and Madison (13)—served as bridesmaids, making the event deeply personal. Celebrity guests included fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), who attended with her family. Other notable attendees were Cara Delevingne, Katherine Ryan, Daisy Lowe, Simon Fuller, Alan Carr, Tom Allen, Angellica Bell, and presenter Gaby Roslin. Victoria Beckham, Melanie C, and Geri Halliwell were not present, but Victoria sent her well-wishes on Instagram, and Melanie C also shared a congratulatory message.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds hosted an elegant reception at the Shangri-La Hotel inside The Shard, offering panoramic views of London’s skyline. Guests were transported in classic red double-decker buses, while Mel B and Rory departed in a horse-drawn carriage, adding a romantic, traditional flair to the celebration.

Mel B and Rory McPhee first met as friends in 2018 and became engaged during a romantic getaway to Berkshire in October 2022. Mel described the proposal as intimate and heartfelt, sharing that he told her, “I love you, you're my best friend and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
This marks Mel B’s third marriage. She was previously married to Jimmy Gulzar (1998–2000) and Stephen Belafonte (2007–2017). After vowing she would never marry again, Mel has expressed how her relationship with Rory helped restore her faith in love and commitment.

The wedding was a celebration of resilience, love, and a fresh chapter, filled with joy, family, and a touch of celebrity glamour.
