Senator Natasha Akpoti‑Uduaghan of Kogi West has shared affectionate photos and a video featuring herself and her husband, Chief Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan. T1he visuals, posted on social media, showed the couple in loving moments, with the senator captioning the post, “Too Glam to Give a Damn.”

This public display comes amid the senator’s ongoing political challenges, including a high-profile dispute with Senate President Godswill Akpabio. Earlier this year, Akpoti-Uduaghan accused Akpabio of sexual harassment, leading to her suspension from the Senate for six months.
Despite the controversy, her husband has stood firmly by her side. Chief Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri Kingdom, recently reiterated his support, saying their relationship is built on love, compassion, and mutual respect. He stated that he would never trade her for anything.
The senator’s suspension, which has drawn national attention, was recently ruled excessive by a court. However, she remains barred from entering the National Assembly premises as of July 22, 2025.
Her recent post appears to be a personal and symbolic response to her critics. As protests under the slogan “We Are All Natasha” continue across the country, she remains at the center of conversations surrounding gender equality and abuse of power in Nigerian politics.
