Endrick has officially been assigned the iconic number 9 jersey at Real Madrid, a decision that has been confirmed by leading football journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The 19-year-old Brazilian star, who joined the Spanish giants in July 2024, will now wear the legendary shirt number previously worn by greats such as Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Romano shared the news on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating:“9️⃣ Official: Endrick will be Real Madrid’s new number 9!”
This announcement ends months of speculation over who would inherit the prestigious number following Kylian Mbappé’s switch to the No. 10 jersey earlier this summer.
