Boxing champion Devin Haney has initiated fresh legal proceedings against his former fiancée, Leena Sayed, alleging that she is unlawfully retaining luxury gifts valued at approximately $350,000. According to court documents filed in Los Angeles, Haney asserts that the items—including high-end jewelry, designer handbags, and an Audemars Piguet watch—were given to Sayed in contemplation of their now-canceled wedding.

Haney contends that under California law, gifts exchanged in anticipation of marriage must be returned if the engagement is terminated. The lawsuit marks the second legal action Haney has taken against Sayed in recent weeks. In a prior case, he accused her of defamation and extortion, claiming she made threats to damage his reputation and interfered with his parental rights regarding their infant daughter, Khrome.
Sayed’s legal team has responded by characterizing Haney’s actions as retaliatory, following her successful petition for a domestic violence restraining order. Her attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, maintains that her conduct has been lawful and focused on securing appropriate child support, dismissing Haney’s claims as part of a broader campaign to discredit her.
The former couple, who share a child and were engaged for nearly two years, are expected to appear in family court in the coming weeks as the legal dispute continues to unfold.
