Afrobeats Star and Cubana Chief Priest Meets with Macron at Élysée Palace

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, recently met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris.

The meeting, which took place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, was attended by Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, and his close associate, nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest (Pascal Okechukwu)

In a post on his official social media account, Davido expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “It was an honor meeting @EmmanuelMacron and sharing our visions for a better world.”

This meeting follows Davido’s recent appointment as the Chairman of the Osun Sports Trust Fund, an initiative aimed at revitalizing the state’s sports sector and attracting sustainable funding.
