Mohamed Salah Removes Liverpool Mentions from Social Media After Champions League Snub

Mohamed Salah has removed all references to Liverpool from his social media profiles following his omission from the starting lineup in Liverpool's 5-1 UEFA Champions League victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 33-year-old forward, a key figure for the club, has updated his X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram bios, removing mentions of Liverpool FC and replacing his profile and header images with personal content.
Salah's exclusion from the starting XI was a notable decision by manager Arne Slot, who chose to start summer signing Hugo Ekitike. Ekitike responded with a goal, contributing to Liverpool's important win after a string of disappointing results. Salah entered the match as a substitute in the 74th minute, but his reaction suggested frustration, as he appeared to head straight down the tunnel at full time.

The timing of Salah's social media changes has sparked speculation about his relationship with the club and his future at Anfield. While some fans have expressed concern over his recent form and the team’s performance, others have shown support.
