Arne Slot Confirms Injuries to Jeremie Frimpong and Alisson Ahead of Liverpool’s Clash with Brentford

Arne Slot, manager of Liverpool FC, delivered a sobering injury update ahead of this weekend’s Premier League fixture against Brentford FC.

He confirmed that right-back Jeremie Frimpong has suffered a hamstring injury and is not in a good place. Slot said of Frimpong: “He’s definitely not going to play today, tomorrow or next week.”

In addition, Slot revealed that goalkeeper Alisson Becker will also be absent for an extended period. “Alisson is not in the squad. That’s also going to take a little bit longer,” Slot noted.

With Frimpong and Alisson unavailable, Liverpool face this weekend’s match at the Gtech Community Stadium looking the weaker side of their squad.
