Arteta confirmed that Gabriel “had to leave the pitch with an issue” during their recent win against Atlético Madrid, and importantly lodged that the Brazilian defender “hasn’t been able to train yet,” leaving his availability for Sunday’s game in doubt.
With Arsenal preparing for this weekend’s match against Crystal Palace, Arteta said the club will monitor Gabriel’s condition over the next 24 hours to decide whether he can be included.
