Jamal Musiala has made significant progress in his recovery from a serious leg injury sustained during Bayern Munich's Club World Cup quarterfinal against Paris Saint-Germain on July 5, 2025.
The 22-year-old midfielder suffered a fractured fibula and a dislocated ankle, which sidelined him for several months.
As of October 23, 2025, Musiala has returned to the training pitch, participating in individual sessions that include light running and coordination exercises. He expressed his satisfaction with the progress, stating, "It was great for me to be back on the pitch. It felt fantastic," and noted that his foot felt good.
Bayern Munich is cautiously optimistic about his recovery and aims to have Musiala back in competitive action by December 2025. The club plans to reintroduce him gradually to ensure he returns to full fitness without rushing the process.
