Afrobeats star Davido (David Adeleke) has been appointed Chairman of the Osun Sports Trust Fund, according to an official statement issued by the Osun State Government.
The announcement came from Deputy Governor and Commissioner for Sports, Kola Adewusi, during a courtesy visit by the state chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).
“The introduction of a Sports Trust Fund will attract support from sports philanthropists within and outside the state, ensuring sustainable sports financing and development,” Adewusi affirmed
